Anything we can do to reduce and improve our methods of getting from one place to another will be vital in coping with the change in energy costs.  We are a rural community and we do have to travel, but there's a lot we can to be more effective whether it's persuading people to walk rather than take the car on short journeys, sharing transport or trying to get public transport made available at suitable times and to the right destination.
