Dorrie's Solar Panels
In 1973 we had 5 solar panels fitted and connected to our hot water supply. Two panels on the East facing roof and 3 panels on the West facing roof provided ample hot water for 2 adults and 5 children from May to October and were supplemented by an oil boiler which also supplied central heating during the colder months. They have never caused any problems and are still providing lots of “free” hot water!
